TU password
The so-called "TU password" is the key to daily needed information and services that are available through the TU websites: for example, access to the information system TISS, access to TUWEL (e-learning), access to application forms for various services of the ZID, validation for various web applications.

Where can I get my TU password?
Students: When you set up your student account you are asked to choose your password.
Staff: You will receive your initial password from the address manager of your institute.
I forgot my TU password
Students: A new password can be obtained from the tutors (in the public computer room FH1) or in the Service Center of the ZID ("Freihaus", 2nd floor, yellow area). Please bring your student ID.
Staff: Please contact the address manager of your institute.
Who is my address manager?
Address managers can be found in the address book entry of your institute under "additional function".
How do I change my password?
Students: You can change your password under https://www.zid.tuwien.ac.at/student/account/.
Staff: You can change your password in your address book entry.
